Hi, I'm Vanessa Cruz

Since I was a child, I’ve been captivated by observing life’s little moments — I got my first camera when I was nine, and that curiosity has never left me.

Guided by emotion, I tell stories through images — and when they’re touched by beautiful light, it feels like the perfect gift.

I studied photography in Mexico City, where I learned to blend technique with heart — a balance that continues to define my work today.

For more than 10 years, I’ve had the joy of photographing weddings in the Riviera Maya, collaborating with some of the most recognized studios in the region. Those years of experience inspired me to begin a more personal project — Vavana Wedding Studio — a space where authenticity, emotion, and connection guide every image.

Vavana is a name born from my own — a blend of my two names that takes me back to childhood and reminds me why I do what I love.
